We’re ready to purchase our homes.

Our goal
Keep residents in their homes.
Preserve affordable housing.
Protect the historic character and economic diversity of Nicollet Island.
Continue decades of resident stewardship.
The Nicollet Island Cooperative is 308c housing cooperative made up of residents from 22 rental units across six buildings on Nicollet Island. We formed this summer after receiving notice that our buildings were going to be sold, and since then have worked tirelessly to organize our efforts with the invaluable help of some fantastic partners and neighbors.
We have the full support of the island community, and are so excited to get to work on preserving this incredible neighborhood for generations to come.
